Keep at it, the plot looks pretty solid, I'd try to get the context to be more realistic, there's a million ways to do that, adding animation to the water, leaks, grit on the walls, ambient sounds mixed at a low levels so they don't cover voices. Vocals sound a bit too reverbed, probably the room they're being recorded on lacks acoustic treatment? Animations could use some love too.
Overall it looks raw but there's something there

DarkProjectWorks responds:

Time to go over a few of your points. There is a slight movement in the water, there's no need to have it flowing. Leaks? Why? Grit on the walls? They're all textured gritty enough. Vocal wise, everyone was free to record their voices in their own times in their own homes. I no longer have the setup since having to move house to provide a recording area, so this was the next best thing.
After viewing your two "movies" which barely resemble any form of real animation, you're not one to judge anybody on the effort put into animation.

Grow up.

well animated, the story is intriguing and many artists can relate to the dilemma of keeping on the cringy side of the road, artistically fulfilling but economically challenging or giving away to a more comforted style at the cost of creativity. My advice to him? Keep at it!

better than gay dog porn for sho

wow, that's pretty intense. The style of the dad's arm reminded of those ren & stimpy detalied body parts, the contrast with the simplistic style of the kid worked really well.

Alyxandr responds:

It was Charlie's idea to have a "Ren & Stimpy"-style hyperdetailed closeup in the cartoon. I told her I was no good at drawing hands and she is much better at it, so we mixed those ideas together to create the detailed, painted arm!

Thank you!!

I can imagine that conversation happening in a lot of different places right now.
Well pictured.

good work!
I can see room for improvement animation-wise, maybe add detail to the backgrounds.
The plot is solid even if the ending is abrupt.

a day in the life style, most entertaining!

not bad!
the type of humour is similar to perry bible fellowship's, there's a particular video of an old man accidentally bricking his computer

Newgrounders from the early 2000's, I did a bunch of music and also a monthly podcast where I showcased other people's music and took credit for it, currently on hiatus
