[What's In the Basement? (Part 1)]

wow, that's pretty intense. The style of the dad's arm reminded of those ren & stimpy detalied body parts, the contrast with the simplistic style of the kid worked really well.

It was Charlie's idea to have a "Ren & Stimpy"-style hyperdetailed closeup in the cartoon. I told her I was no good at drawing hands and she is much better at it, so we mixed those ideas together to create the detailed, painted arm!

The suspense was well accomplished but I'm personally not a big fan of jump scares though it did remind me of the opening scene of a 2016 thriller called Lights Out
